Learning Everywhere is a project to support handheld personalised learning, in collaboration with Bradford Carlton Bolling CLC.
We aim to test the principles of delivering curriculum education supported by one to one access through the use of a student owned Pocket PC.
"Learning Everywhere" aimed mainly, though not exclusively at KS4 is certainly not device specific or technology lead and sits very well within the personalised learning agenda.
This technology, already very familiar to the vast majority of our students through their use of mobile phones is being placed into classrooms alongside excellent support structures as an aid to good learning and teaching practice not in its stead.
The personalised nature of the project is supported by the ownership model used within "Learning Everywhere" where students "own" a Pocket PC for the duration of the project and parental support ensures family engagement with the project.
